Gargoyles was a fairly popular bar for about 2 years, around 1995 to 1996. In at least one advertisement they listed themselves as "Milwaukee's 'Social Club' where meeting new friends is made easy. Our warm, comfortable atmosphere greets you and says 'Get in'". They cited their location as being 'Between the Wreck Room and the Boot Camp", trying to draw in the levi/ leather/ biker crowd which hung out at those two bars.

We will be researching the dates this bar was listed in the media bar Guides to try to narrow the timeline.

The bar would fairly quickly close, and later would become first 'South Water Street Docks' (1998-2003) and then the very popular 'Kruz' bar (2006 to at least 2020).

Any additional information is available from anyone willing to contribute it.
