Women's Voices Milwaukee began to be organized in October 2005 by Affinity Performing Arts to compliment the highly successful "Men's Voices Milwaukee" men's chorus. The October 2005 concert of the Men's chorus was a fundraiser, and in June 2006 the Men's Voices concert featured "special guests" the debut performance of the new "Women's Voices Milwaukee" chorus.
