Maggie's was open sometime prior to 1986; restaurant during the day, gay bar at night. But once Downtown Express opened in late 1987, Maggies struggled to stay open amid the competition.

Maggie's closed in December 1988 (per a quick mention in 'In Step' vol 6-01, page 31, 'Steppin Out' column).
