Grand West was a "quiet, comfortable cocktail lounge" in Green Bay. It first appeared in the Bar Guide of 'In Step' magazine vol. 3-12 (June 1986). Sources indicate it was owned by Michael DeGrand and Tim Westland. Tim had previously been a manager of the Napalese Lounge, and went off on his own to open Grand West with Michael.

There were also plans to open "Cafe Joshua" upstairs in the same building in Nov. 1986 (by a different owner), described as "primarily a gay restaurant, augmented by catering" and accessible from the club.

While there are infrequent mentions of the bar for the next few years, the bar disappears from the Bar listings of 'In Step' magazine after the vol. 7-02 (February 1990) issue, and is not mentioned again.

More information about this business is welcome from anyone who can contribute same.
